APCD: formative and summative evaluation

This work was supervised by Dr. Jennifer Garvin. It was done in collaboration with Johnathan Cardwell, Dr. Wu Xu, and Dr. Megha Kalsey.

In this project we used the Model for Collaborative Evaluation (MCE) in a large- scale, health IT development process in public health. There are three aims in this project (bottom figure). We use the MCE to engage collaborative members (CMs) of the project through logic model development (top figure), best practices identification and tracking, and use case development. We surveyed team leads about the MCE. The project is on track and the majority of respondents found the process useful. Overall, the CME aided in the administration of a large- scale public health informatics project.
